Each year, the third Wednesday in October is National Medical Assistant’s Day. At 小优短视频nical Institute, the Medical Assisting faculty celebrate their students the entire week! Every day Medical Assistants play a vital role and make important contributions to the health care field; this is one way of showing an appreciation for all that they do. During Recognition Week, the students were treated to a small gift each day, a continental breakfast, flowers, a T-Shirt with the MA logo, and well wishes from many of the STI faculty and staff.
Throughout the course of this program, faculty consistently remind students of the importance of providing quality patient care and displaying empathy, compassion and professionalism. The purpose of celebrating this day is for students to realize that their dedication and commitment to their career holds great value and promise for the patients in their care.
