This wonderful community service event is in its 7th year thanks to听Mr. Degan, STI Director, who organizes the annual Adopt-a-Family 听event during the holiday season. 听Each year Mr. Degan reaches out听to all current STI students about nominating their friends and family who are in need听of gifts for children.After compiling a list of all the families, STI faculty, staff and students volunteer to purchase gifts for听one or more of the children.听 This year, we were able to make the holidays brighter for several families and 23听children who听range in age from 8 months听to 19 years old.听Since 2010听STI faculty, staff and students have provided听gifts to over 150 children from听more than 55 families!
