On May 27th, STI Administrator Ms. Braga presented Rodney Vernet with his Dual Enrollment Scholarship Award at Mansfield High School. The Dual Enrollment program at STI invites qualified high school students to begin a career while still enrolled in their senior year. Participation in Dual Enrollment requires commitment and focus. Rodney has been enrolled in the STI Electricity program since January and is doing well in all of his classes here and in high school. In December Rodney will graduate from the program prepared to become an electrical apprentice. This $2,500 scholarship is awarded to Rodney with our congratulations!
STI ‘s Dual Enrollment Program enables high school seniors to attend STI in the evening, while enrolled in their second semester of high school, and graduate from STI within six months to one year from their high school graduation date. Current programs offered include Cosmetology, Electricity, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, & Medical Assisting. Application deadline is December 1st. Interested students should see their guidance counselor.聽
