Welcome to the Team!

We’d like to recognize the newest members of the STI staff :

Stephen Alves—Practical Nurse Program Director
Mr. Alves joins Southeastern this year after being the Department Chair/Nursing Program Director at Bristol Community College as well as an instructor.  Stephen also spent almost thirty years as a nursing instructor at Diman Regional.  Mr. Alves holds a Bachelors in Nursing from Southeastern Massachusetts University and a Masters in Nursing from UMass Dartmouth.  He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Nursing.

David Degan—TI Extended Day Program Director
Mr. Degan returns to the Technical Institute in the evenings part-time with his vast post-secondary and high school experience.

Heidi Hautala—TI Practical Nurse Clinical
Heidi comes to the TI from the Brockton VA Center where she held many positions.  She has also worked at several hospitals and clinics.  Ms. Hautala received her Bachelors from UMass Dartmouth and her Masters from UMass Amherst.

Cheryl Miller—TI Practical Nurse Clinical
Ms. Miller has over ten years’ experience as a staff nurse in critical care and long term care facilities.  She was also an instructor for the Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and Lincoln Technical Institute.  Cheryl received her Bachelors  and Masters in Nursing from Grand Canyon University.

Shaun Rodrigues—TI Plumbing
Mr. Rodrigues has been a master plumber for more than ten years and is a graduate of Diman Regional.  He also holds a degree from New England Institute of Technology as a Master Pipefitter Class I and a Master Plumber degree from Cape Cod Plumbing School.

Raymond Therrien—TI HVAC–part-time evening
Mr. Therrien joins the TI this year in the evening while also owning his own HVAC company. He was an HVAC instructor for six years at Bay State School of Technology and holds a variety of trade certifications.

Nicole Yeomans—TI Paraprofessional—DA
Ms. Yeomans is a certified dental assistant and brings more than six years of dental assisting experience as well as Clinical Coordinator experience to the Technical Institute.  She is a graduate of Massasoit’s Dental Assisting program.
