Chris Moschella recently came to STI to speak about billing and coding.聽 Her outside experience and education in the healthcare billing and coding field is unprecedented.
She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE), a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) and holds a master’s degree in taxation from Northeastern University. She has chaired the Edelstein & Co. LLP practice managers’ group, the program committee for the Massachusetts/Rhode Island MGMA and the Massachusetts MGMA Legislative Liaison Committee.聽She has also published several articles on medical management topics and has been a Practice Manager with over 20 years’ experience.
Her management experience includes the following fields: dermatology, orthopedic, psychiatry, endocrinology, and practice consulting.聽She holds state licenses for medical and life insurance and has taught medical billing courses at local colleges and regional schools.聽 She helped write online courses and facilitated national online courses for the MGMA Boot Camp:聽 Essentials of Group Practice Management.
